Pitt in the News

The opening of the Hollywood blockbuster, Pearl Harbor, last weekend made Pitt professor Donald Goldstein a popular interview subject for cable and network news programs. As of Thursday, Goldstein, a professor in Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and a renowned expert on the bombing of Pearl Harbor, was interviewed 89 times. His appearances include an interview with Norman Schwartzkopf, MSNBC; Paula Zahn, Fox; David Brinkley, ABC; and a two-hour Pearl Harbor special on the History Channel.

Goldstein is the author of the book, At Dawn We Slept: The Untold Story of Pearl Harbor, which was first runner up for the Pulitzer Prize in 1982 and on The New York Times bestseller list for 47 weeks.
