Pitt Power

In May, students from the School of Engineering took 10th place in acceleration, up from 40th place last year, in the 2001 Formula SAE Competition in the Silverdome, Pontiac, Mich. The team also placed 15th in design, 15th in autocross, and 31st overall, out of a field of 125 entries from seven countries. Pitt also won the $1,000 EDS Sportsmanship Award.
