Moderating the debate between 2000 Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader and 2000 Reform Party presidential candidate Pat Buchanan is director of Pitt’s American Experience Lecture Series Robert G. Hazo, center, who refereed the Nov. 15 discussion, titled What Kind of Political Party Does America Need? The Honors College, principal sponsor of the event, also hosted afternoon discussions for faculty with Buchanan and Nader.
