Pitt Chancellor Mark A. Based on a novel by James Baldwin, Just Above My Head will premiere June 9 during the National Convention of the Peforming Arts, which will be held for the first time in Pittsburgh. Posvar, the widow of late Pitt Chancellor Wesley W. Posvar, is an internationally renowned opera and concert mezzo-soprano who was a Metropolitan Opera starring artist in the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s.
