Shoot for the Top

Pitt sophomore Carl Krauser shoots for two of the 26 points he scored, along with nine rebounds, in the Panthers’ 68-58 win over the Georgetown University Hoyas in Washington, D.C., Feb. 24. As of press time, Pitt, aiming to make it to the Big East championship game March 13, was poised to face Syracuse University Feb. 29 in the Petersen Events Center. Prior to that game, the Panthers, ranked number 3 nationally, were tied with the Duke University Blue Devils for home-game wins at 40 each.
