AMA Visit

July 19, 2004 Issue

Donald J. Palmisano, immediate past president of the American Medical Association (AMA), addressed faculty members, physicians, and clinical staff of the Pitt School of Medicine July 14. Palmisano, who completed his term as the 158th president of the AMA in June, delivered a lecture titled “The Role of the AMA in Medical Education.” The visit was coordinated by Pitt’s Department of Anesthesiology.
