January 18, 2005 Issue

In recognition of Pitt-Johnstown’s economic impact—$60 million pumped into the regional economy, 650 jobs created—the campus received an Economic Summit Award from the Greater Johnstown/Cambria County Chamber of Commerce late last year. More than 350 people attended the 2004 summit, held in Pitt-Johnstown’s Pasquerilla Conference Center. Pictured, from left: Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Robert F. Layo; David H.
