Some 96 first-year Pitt pharmacy students recited the pledge of professionalism, indicating their willingness to assume the obligations and responsibilities of the pharmacy profession, during the School of Pharmacy’s annual Dr. Gordon J. Vanscoy White Coat Ceremony, Jan. 28 in Scaife Hall. Presentation of the white coats symbolizes a student’s passage into the pharmacy profession.
