At the Pitt Board of Trustees’ annual meeting June 24, Board Chair Ralph J. Cappy (right) announced that trustees, board members of the Pitt Alumni Association, and other Pitt alumni and friends had made a combined gift of $2.4 million to establish the endowed Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg University Chair to honor 10 years of leadership by Mark A. Nordenberg as Pitt chancellor.
