The Pitt women’s basketball team clinched a winning season for the first time since 1999-2000 with a 79-62 win against Georgetown Feb. 1. Sophomore center Marcedes Walker (No. 45, pictured during Pitt’s recent victory against the University of South Florida) was one of four Panthers with double figures against Georgetown, scoring 19 points and snagging 11 rebounds.
