Pitt’s African American Alumni Council (AAAC) honored three alumnae with the Rising African American Leader Award during the Oct. 26 AAAC Farewell Brunch and Awards Reception, which was held over Homecoming weekend. The award recognizes alumni who are younger than 40 years old for their professional achievements and community service work.
