An Assist for Santa

The entire Pitt football team, led by Head Coach Pat Narduzzi, wrapped presents, stuffed gift bags, and sorted packages on Dec. 22 in preparation for the 2015 Christmas Day at Pitt. The free and annual event, held in Litchfield Towers’ Market Central dining space, served more than 2,400 meals to members of the Pittsburgh community in need. Pitt partnered with campus food-services provider Sodexo and the Salvation Army—as well as more than 225 volunteers from Pitt. An additional 134 student athletes volunteered prior to the event, including members of the University’s men and women’s basketball teams, as well as football, swimming and diving, and gymnastics teams.
