Newsmakers: A Legacy Welcome

At the Aug. 19 Pitt Alumni Association’s inaugural Legacy Luncheon, Chancellor Patrick Gallagher (right) mingled and spoke with numerous alumni and their families, including Jack Anderson (left), who directed Pitt’s band from 1995 until 2012. More than 300 alumni parents and grandparents—accompanied by their incoming freshmen—participated in the event held on the Cathedral of Learning lawn.
