More than 3,500 incoming Pitt freshmen formed the shape of Pitt's panther mascot on the Petersen Events Center lawn. The Aug. 21 exercise marked an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for “The Largest Animal Image Formed by Humans.” Stay tuned.             Moving carts were everywhere on campus during the Aug. 19-23 Arrival Survival as Pitt freshmen moved into their residence halls.           On Aug. 24, freshman women participated in Lantern Night, the University's oldest tradition that features Pitt alumnae and female leaders sharing "the light of knowledge" with the incoming students.
