Call for Nominations: Sustainability Awards
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking nominations for its First Annual Sustainability Awards, which will recognize Pitt faculty, staff, students, and groups who are making an extraordinary impact on campus sustainability.
Winners will be individuals or groups who have generated awareness about sustainability, implemented a specific project, or organized new sustainability initiatives in education, research, or practice.
Nominations are due March 6 and may be made for any of seven categories: student; student groups/clubs; faculty; faculty team; staff; staff team; department, program or group. Any Pitt faculty, staff, or student may make a nomination online at www.sustainable.pitt.edu/content/pitt-sustainability-awards
Winners will receive a commemorative award and be recognized during an April 14 Sustainability Awards Luncheon at Pitt’s University Club.
A review committee will forward recommendations to Pitt Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Patricia E. Beeson for final decisions.
