Panthers Break into Top 25

The University of Pittsburgh men’s basketball team has entered the national Top 25 rankings for the first time this season. The Panthers were ranked 22nd in the Associated Press poll and 21st in the USA Today’s coaches’ poll, released Jan. 13. Above, Pitt’s Cameron Wright (No. 3), a senior guard, and Talib Zanna (No. 42), a senior forward, take charge during the Jan. 6th game against Maryland in the Petersen Events Center—the first Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball game that Pitt has hosted. Final score: Pitt 79, Maryland 59.
