Oakland celebrated its 175th anniversary by hosting a community party in and around Schenley Plaza on Oct. 10-11. Pitt was the lead sponsor for the event, which featured free museum admissions, art and photography exhibits, family fun, food trucks, and live music. Pictured is Steve O'Hearn of Squonk Opera, performing for the crowd.

On the Freedom Road
